Archiving the artworks

The Archivio (Estate) Antonio Scaccabarozzi was founded in November 2010,two years after the artist deceased.

The Archivio, created due to the will and care of the artist’s heir Anastasia Rouchota, aims to exhibit, promote and protect the body of work produced by the artist during his career of over forty years, to increase its circulation and exhibition in public and private spaces.

In order to reach these objectives the Archivio has begun an inventory of all the artworks produced by Scaccabarozzi, those from his own collection and those currently exist in public or private collections, aiming to complete the archiving process and start drafting the general catalogue of work.

The Archivio is the only subject authorised to authenticate and catalogue artworks by Antonio Scaccabarozzi.

Therefore the Archivio, invites anybody in possession of an artwork by Antonio Scaccabarozzi to apply for archiving and authentication by following the procedure described below.

This procedure will allow the artwork to be scheduled and to be available for public exhibitions, in the future. The owner can receive legal authentication.

The Archivio encourages all cultural initiatives aimed at improving Antonio Scaccabarozzi’s artistic legacy, and thus promotes studies and investigation and collaborates on solo and group exhibitions at galleries and museums. The Archivio collects documents and information on Antonio Scaccabarozzi and, in turn, allows consultation of its documentary material to students who request them.
