The Antonio Scaccabarozzi Archive is pleased to invite you to the introduction of
La pittura in testa [Painting in the head]
that will be in June 5th at 5 PM
at Pinacoteca Albertina in the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts building,
via Accademia Alberina 8, Turin.
The opening will be the same day at 6 PM.
The exhibition is the closing event of a year-long project, edited by Anastasia Rouchota and coordinated by Monica Saccomandi, that was divided into a series of meetings about the Antonio Scaccabarozzi's life, work and Archive, organized for the students of Albertina Academy of Fine Arts.
The Antonio Scaccabarozzi's Iniezioni [Injections], Polietileni tagliati doppi [Double cut polyethylenes] and Banchise [Packs ice] will be exhibited among with the students's artworks inspired by him: Simona Badalamenti, Giulia Castagna, Sivia Cioni & Donato Mariano, Delia Gianti, Florian Andrea Mueller, Irene Passarella, Liu Ruogu, Tong Shen, Marco Vacchetta, PeiPei Yao e Helun Zhang.

Furthermore, his original writings and archival documents will be exhibited to complete the project and to highlight his theoretical and methodical side.
Lastly, a division will be dedicated to Antonio Scaccabarozzi. Un'avventura conoscitiva [A cognitive experience] because of its informative and educational purpose. The project is aimed to allow his artworks to become accessible to people with visual disabilities and is realized in collaboration with Istituto dei Ciechi [Institute of Blind] in Milan and supervised by Elisabetta Modena.
The exhibition will be open until June 11th.
